I'm kidding, but only partially. That's a difficult question to answer. Like was previously said, some Z guys like particular Zs strictly because there are less of them. Cocoa brown is a good example. There are very few. That could be because they are just rare. Or it could be because it's an ugly color and nobody wanted it, so production was low. That makes it rare, but not necessarily desirable. The typical mumbo-jumbo about wanting a Slicktop is the rumor that they're "over 300lbs lighter." Or that they are stiffer without the T-tops. Both of which would make it a better track car. I'm not sure about that, other than Nissan did list their curb weight as lower compared to regular t-top cars. I personally prefer Slicktops strictly for their looks. I think a true sports car should be a coupe. I feel the same way about Porsches, Ferraris, or other sports cars. To me, convertibles, sunroofs, and T-tops are for women who want to let their hair down and men going through a mid-life crisis. But that's just one imbecile's opinion. The bottom line is, desirability is an indirect function of price and availability. Slicktops typically fetch more money than N/A 2+0 t-top cars, but not as much as TTs, all other things being equal. 2+2s typically sell for the lowest. Not sure about convertibles. Hope that helps.
